I rejoice in the awareness that even the most dedicated and disciplined of spiritually connected individuals must rise to and battle challenges to touch the upper limits of their strength and wisdom. An easy life does not require us to grow our strength muscles or hone our wisdom. The most capable and wise among us have likely traveled through some form of trial by fire to get here.
I cannot really choose when adversity pays me a visit. I can however choose how I deal with it. I choose to dig deep within until I tap into that bottomless well of tenacity and fortitude that is a hallmark of my spirit. It is often in the worst of times that we surprise ourselves with a boundless capacity of strength and endurance.
Is your best life on the other side of whatever you are facing in this moment? Can I encourage you that you are so much stronger than you think! Lean into it....look up.... draw from the well God has provided for you. Surrender the control and tap in to the endless reservoir of strength available to each of us for the asking.
