By choosing to greet every challenge as a character building exercise I allow myself the opportunity to deepen my wisdom and set the the stage for inner growth and victories. This choice summons and transforms the hero that lies within me.
Each of us has hero potential. Very few find it, use it or grow it because they lack the faith to jump when they cannot see the outcome. If you knew that your highest and best life was on the other end of a spiral staircase going up into the clouds but you could not see the end of the staircase, would you go up it anyway?
Heroes rarely know the outcome, but they serve, love and take huge chances regardless. They believe in the higher good and trust they will be led in the right direction. Do they fail. Yes. But they get up, brush them selves off and continue the journey with equal or better determination. Look around you today... what heroes have shown up in your life? They are not there by accident.
