I acknowledge that adversity not only strengthens my character but reveals the depths and layers of my inner integrity. I have found in the dark storms of life the radiant light of integrity has the opportunity to shine ever more brightly.
The light of integrity requires us to dim the ego down to nothing. Our humility grows and compassion and kindness have space to multiply. It's amazing how much room we have in our head and heart space once we eradicate ego.
Under pressure what shows up in your life? Is it integrity or ego? Self worth or humility. Love of others or a need to prove yourself. Do you spend time justifying your actions to your inner self and others? Look at all that burned up energy. Think of how it could be better spent if integrity was the shining and guiding light.
