I acknowledge the opportunity to turn my hurt into healing; the wounds I encounter into wisdom and the pain I endure into power. I would never know the inner strength I possess if everything in my life was easy. I grow the most in the seasons that challenge me if I allow myself the experience, grow and am in gratitude for the challenge.
God didn't promise life would be easy. He did promise He would be with me always and that anything is possible if I believe. I think about the life of Peter..... How many times did he endure jail? Or Joseph, who was thrown in a well by his brothers and then sold into slavery. How about Job who lost his house, his cattle and his own children?
Possibly you are going through a struggling season or you feel like every season is a struggle. Can I encourage you that it's mind over situation. If each of these examples above had not endured the story of history would be forever changed. Where's your mind right now? Are you wallowing in your pain or using your pain to thrust you into a new level of power? "All things are possible for those who believe". Is this you? Do you believe today?
