Right Relationship...
I choose to be radical love. 1st Corinthians 13 is often read at weddings. It is recited in quotes and printed on plaques or written on our walls for all to see but very few do the work within to live it out in life. When the challenges of love present itself we have two choices we can run, hide... turn inward and guard our heart or we can exemplify patience, kindness, hope and endurance for the journey.
The thing about God is we cannot outrun His love, nor can we hide from it. He won't force it on us though.... He provides free will. If I am living out radical love my relationships mirror this. I can love on people but I cannot force them to be in right relationship with me. I have to choose the higher purpose and know that radical love bears all things, endures all things, believes all things and hopes all things. It goes way past explainable understanding.
Do you love wide open or are you guarding your heart? Are you authentic and genuine in your pursuit of loving others? Or, are you rebelling and selfishly holding your love for ransom? The good news is you can stop in your tracks right now and open yourself up in this instant and recieve the love waiting for you? It's a love that water can't quench and rivers cannot sweep away. It is true radical love. It's changes lives. Would you consider starting with yours?
