Grinding The Ax of Disappointment..

I walk in the awareness that if I do life with an ax to grind I am unable to hear the words of those around me with clarity. They are instead drowned out by the sound of the grindstone. It would be easy for me to miss an open door of opportunity because I am allowing previous experiences color my present expectations and ability. 

It is hard to be open to the creative energy of today if I am replaying the mistakes or disappointments of yesterday. Each day brings me the opportunity to create a positive experiences. How many of us start our day embracing the energy of that opportunity? 

Sadly most will wake up today and reenact the previous day, week, month or even year. They continue to sharpen their ax on the grindstone of disappointment and negativity instead of burying the ax in the past where it belongs and opening themselves up to the opportunity this day presents. Today's a gift of open and unlimited energy and opportunity.... no ax grinding required to live your highest and best life!
