Not Naive....

Choosing to "give thanks in all circumstances" is a huge life lesson. It is so much easier said than done. However, I can attest that even in heartache, pain and trying circumstances that giving thanks keeps me moving forward and allows me to focus on the light. The light is figuratively the hope in our world.

Life is hard, draining at times, and pain does not take a break when the holidays arrive. Often pain is more exposed at this time of year.  The holidays can expose our longings and laments making it difficult to know how to celebrate with a troubled heart.

But, this is the time we need to celebrate the most..... give thanks the most..... rejoice in earnest. This action releases new energy and light into our circumstances, effecting change if we let it.  Believing in miracles, hope, love and kindness in troubled situations is not naive, it is God's plan for us.
